
The USB drive connects to the Disk Drive port on your BBC Micro, and requires a functional disk interface to be present. It functions as a modern solid state disk drive, allowing you to have all your disk images on one USB stick, instead of multiple floppies.

It can be powered by the standard 4 pin ATX floppy power connector, but also with a regular 5V DC power supply. It can be connected to a host through a standard 34 pin floppy ribbon cable and it's compatible with virtually any computer with a floppy disk interface (though some might require a custom ribbon cable to be made). It's fully compatible with all the firmwares for the Gotek: FlashFloppy, Cortex and HxC.
